The ArkidTects Competition Teams are a fantastic way to take building and teamwork to a new level. Focused on building an interest in science and engineering, these are hands-on programs designed to capture children’s inherent curiosity and direct it toward discovering the possibilities of problem solving and improving the world around them. The programs feature a real-world challenge, to be solved by research, critical thinking and imagination. Guided by adult coaches, students work in teams with LEGO® elements and moving parts to build ideas and concepts to present them for review at the local, state and national levels.
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE
The best way to summarize FIRST LEGO® League (FLL) is to say that it is an international robotics competition. Children will compete in local competitions, moving on to regional and national depending on success. FLL is designed to get children excited about science and teach them valuable employment and life skills. Teams build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® Mindstorms® EV3 robots to solve a set of missions on an obstacle course. If your child enjoyed our robotics class, they will LOVE this program!
FIRST LEGO LEAGUE JUNIOR

At Arkidtects, we provide the perfect mixture of education and fun. Let’s face it. If it isn’t fun, your child won’t want to come back. In our competition programs, students are focused on working as a team while learning robotics and engineering concepts, developing critical thinking skills and solving real world challenges using research and creativity.
In Arkidtects programs, we foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration. We encourage group decision making, negotiation and compromise to teach children critical social skills. Through team planning and group decision making, children improve cooperation and teamwork skills in our programs. Social development is crucial in development of children. At Arkidtects, we want to make learning social skills fun!
